It was a beautiful Bavarian May day so we drove into the city, dropped our bags off at our hotel, & rode the tram into the 'Altstadt' (Old Town) to begin exploring.
There was free time for lunch in the huge 'Viktualianmarkt' market area, then we met our expert local guide Markus.
Markus guided us around the compact city center, showing us different historical & cultural sites, explaining about the lederhosen he was wearing, etc. It was a great introduction to the city, even though everyone was tired.
We rode the tram back to the hotel, had a little time to freshen up, then walked to a local restaurant for our group dinner.
Everyone was very tired by the time we got back to the hotel just before 9:00pm so headed to bed.
